Office of the Superintendent

    Dear Christina Community,

As we begin this new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all of our students, families, staff, and community members. Our theme for the year is “Stronger Together,” and we truly believe that by building strength through strong instruction, strong communities, and strong systems, we can help every student succeed. This means working hand-in-hand to create an environment where learning thrives and everyone feels supported.

Strong instruction is at the heart of what we do. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of every learner. We are investing in professional development and new resources to ensure that our classrooms are places where students can grow, explore, and reach their full potential.

Building strong communities is just as important. We know that students do best when families, schools, and neighborhoods come together. That’s why we encourage open communication, partnership, and involvement. Whether it’s through volunteering, attending events, or simply staying connected, your role is key to our shared success.

Finally, strong systems help us support all of these efforts. We are focused on improving everything from transportation and technology to safety and student services. Together, these systems create a foundation that allows our schools to run smoothly and put students first. Thank you for being part of the #ChristinaStrong community. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead—stronger together.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Deirdra Joyner
    Superintendent
