Delaware Foster Grandparent Program
The Foster Grandparent Program strives to provide opportunities for older adults to connect with the youth in their community, providing individualized and supportive services and helping the children grow physically, emotionally, socially, and mentally. Our partnership with the Foster Grandparent Program started in 2000 and two of our foster grandparents, Bellulah "Mom-mom" Coleman and Martha "Abuelita" Reyes, have been with us for nearly ten years! They work with individual children and small groups with a concentration on early literacy.
READ ALOUD DELAWARE
Read Aloud Delaware is an organization with wonderful volunteers that come to us each week to read individually to our children. They encourage the love of reading and help parents prepare their children for a successful school experience once they enter kindergarten.
