Middle School Uniform Dress Code

  • The Christina School District Dress Code is a set of guidelines that outline the standards for student attire while attending school. The goal of this protocol is to promote a sense of community, reduce distractions, and create a more focused learning environment. Students shall dress in clothes that promote a safe and respectful learning environment, in alignment with the Christina School District Student Manual.

All Christina School District (CSD) middle schools and select elementary schools (Jennie E. Smith Elementary and Albert H. Jones Elementary School) participate in the school uniform program. Students in participating schools are required to wear the designated school uniform during school hours, including when attending school-sponsored events or field trips, unless otherwise indicated by school administration. The following schools participate in the school uniform program:

    • The Bayard School (Grades 1-8)
    • Gauger-Cobbs Middle School (Grades 6-8)
    • George V. Kirk Middle School (Grades 6-8)
    • Albert H. Jones Elementary School (Grades K-5)
    • Maurice Pritchett Sr. Academy (Grades 1-8)
    • Shue-Medill Middle School (Grades 6-8)
    • Jennie E. Smith Elementary School (Grades K-5)

The following dress code applies to students who attend any Christina School District that participate in the Uniform Dress Code ( all middle schools and select elementary schools).
