Principal's Message

  • Dear Wilson Community,

Welcome to Wilson Elementary! I am proud to introduce myself as the principal of Etta J. Wilson Elementary School. Being a part of this wonderful school community is truly an honor.

With over thirty years in elementary education, I have taught students from kindergarten through sixth grade in various roles. Before coming to Wilson, I served as a teacher for 24 years and as an Assistant Principal at Jennie Smith Elementary School, where I gained extensive teaching and administrative experience that has greatly benefited Etta J. Wilson Elementary.

At Wilson Elementary, our commitment is to nurture every aspect of student development through strong home-school connections. Parents and caregivers play a crucial role in a child’s education, and working together to support our students is a priority.

On a personal note, education is a family tradition for me; my mother was a teacher with the Christina School District, and there have been two generations of educators before me. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, reading, catching up on Judge Judy, and spending quality time with my family.

I look forward to another productive school year at Wilson Elementary. Thanks for all you do to support our success!

    Mrs. Boutte

    Principal
