The Downes Parent Teacher Association supports our school, students, teachers, and families with more than 40 events and activities throughout the year and by funding classroom materials and special projects. Money from dues and other fundraising goes right back to supporting our children in the form of classroom supplies, technology items, school-wide social events, arts education, gardens, assemblies, and enrichment programs.
Monthly Meetings
Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Parents may attend in-person or via zoom. This year's meeting dates are as follows:

Be heard by the School Board
The Christina School Board holds monthly meetings. The public portion of the meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. If you have concerns about any issues concerning the Christina School District or just want to see the Board in action, we strongly encourage you to
attend a meeting.
