Christina REACH Program

  • Who We Are

    The Christina School District REACH Program is dedicated to delivering a high-quality education for students aged 2½ to 21 with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Our specialized program is thoughtfully designed and implemented across 18 classrooms in 12 schools throughout the Christina School District, ensuring that every learner receives the support they need to thrive.

    With a mission to empower not just students, but also staff and families, REACH engages learners through dynamic, multi-sensory activities that seamlessly integrate applied academics, daily living skills, and vocational training.

    To help students succeed in real life, educational, and vocational situations, they are assigned to age-appropriate classrooms and/or vocational settings. The classroom programs are an integral part of the total school community, involving a high degree of interaction with age-appropriate peers.
