District Policy
The Board of Education will adopt policies, in consultation with District administration and parents/ guardians. Review of all policies will be in Public Session and will be made available on the District website. The District will notify parents/guardians of these policies at least annually after any substantive changes. A complete list of policies is available on BoardDocs.

Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Christina School District recognizes the need to protect student information and privacy while promoting educational and extra-curricular activities in district and outside media. Federal law (FERPA) permits the district to release directory information under limited circumstances. Directory information is information about a student that is generally not considered an invasion of privacy, such as name, address, photograph, activities, and sports. If you wish to opt-out of the district releasing this information or including your child in articles and photos, please click the link below. -
Parents Rights to Know -- Teacher Qualifications
Christina School District believes all students should be taught by highly qualified staff in all of our schools. Parents have a right to know if their child's teacher meets these standards. Federal Law ensures this right for parents who have children in schools that receive funds from the federal Title I program.

Student Manual
Students and parents must sign the Student Manual Acknowledgement Form to acknowledge that they have read and understand the contents of the Christina School District Student Manual and ALL approved policies referenced and included in that document.
