Hi and welcome to room 507.  My name is Jean Tucker and this year is my 12th year at Keene.  I have been teaching for almost 25 years both in and out of the district, spending many of those years in Kindergarten.  I  taught first grade for 5 years when I first began at Keene and I returned to teaching Kindergarten 7 years ago. This year I am teaching the special education students in Kindergarten.  I work closely with the regular classroom teachers as well as the therapists here at Keene.  I push into classrooms to work with all students as well as pulling out special educational students for additional instruction.
We spend our days learning to read, write and do math.  We work on learning to cooperate and get along with friends as well as how to work independently.  Our days are filled with both active and quiet activities and are always exciting.
