Students, chaperones, and teachers Tim Werbrich, Tara Lynch, Julia Dooley, Jenny Rovner and Nancy Ventresca spent the morning exploring the animal habitats at the Philadelphia Zoo, then traveled to Center City to visit the US Mint, the Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House and the site of Benjamin Franklin’s house. It was a fabulous experience that blended history, geography, natural science and economics, as well as an opportunity to explore an exciting city.
