Helpful Homework Tips

1. Establish a location for doing homework (special table in dining room, special desk).

2. Establish a time, which is best for your child to do his/her homework.

3. Read directions carefully.  Discuss with your child what the directions say.  Encourage your child to do the work on their own.

5. Please return homework in folder each day.
6. Encourage neat handwriting.
7. Make flash cards to help with spelling or math facts.

5. Initial each night’s homework in the corner of the assignment book for the night, if possible.  Write a note if there are any problems.
