Welcome to Advanced Academics at Leasure!
The Advanced Academics Program serves students in grades 3 through 5 who perform exceptionally well in the classroom and are in the top 10% of their grade level peer group. These students consistently demonstrate outstanding academic skills and creativity and may qualify for Advanced Reading, Advanced Math or both!
During Advanced Reading, the year begins with the Jacob's Ladder Reading Comprehension series. As the year progresses, we will continue on with the reading program from the College of William and Mary Center for Gifted Education. More information about this program is available at

In addition, Advanced Reading students will be developing vocabulary through the rigorous study of Greek and Latin roots. 4th and 5th grades will be working in "Caesar's English". More information on these programs is available at
