Hello!  Welcome to first grade in room 115.  My name is Mrs. Yingling-Smith.  I have been teaching since 2009.  I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in special education from Wilmington University.  I started my career in Philadelphia and taught kindergarten there for two years before moving to Delaware.  I have spent the last eight years teaching in the Christina School district.  I have taught kindergarten and first grade.  This is my second year at Keene Elementary School.

 

I have been married for nine years and have two wonderful children.  My son is four years old and my daughter is two.  I also have a cat and a dog.  

 

I am very excited to work with you and your child this year!
