Nathan Clarke

  • I am one of three Chemistry teachers at Newark High School. I grew up in York, PA. I graduated from York Suburban High School in 1996. I earned my Bachelors degree in Chemistry Education from the University of Delaware in 2000. I earned my Masters degree in Education from the University of Wilmington in 2009.

    I have lived in Newark since attending the University of Delaware in 1996. I am married and have one daughter. I enjoy rowing, swimming, reading, wood working and home improvement projects.

    I was orginally majoring strictly in Chemistry at UD, but after two years of way too many very late-night labs and tutoring several teamates on the rowing team (all who came back with either an A or B for their general level chemistry course) I decided teaching was what I wanted/enjoyed doing most and switched my major to Chemistry Education.
