21st Annual Drill & Colors Classic
On Saturday, February 1, Glasgow High School will provide the venue for the 21st Annual Drill and Colors Classic for high school teams. More than 600 people are expected to attend. Junior ROTC Units from all branches of service and from several different states around the North-Eastern seaboard will be in attendance at this year's competition. Cadets work hard to memorize the marching drill sequences. They compete against other schools and are judged by volunteers from the University of Delaware Air Force and Army ROTC Cadets, Delaware Air National Guard, Active Duty, and Reserve Army and Glasgow High School teachers.
Schools will have the option to compete in the following events: Armed Regulation, Armed Exhibition, Armed Color Guard, Armed Personal Inspection, Armed 2 Person Exhibition, Academic Challenge, Unarmed Regulation, Unarmed Exhibition, Unarmed Color Guard, Unarmed Personal Inspection, Unarmed 2 Person Exhibition and Knock Out.
