Smith Elementary School

Jennie E. Smith Elementary School is a community of teachers, staff, and families dedicated to building a solid academic foundation for our children in reading, writing, math, science, citizenship, technology, and the arts in a safe, nurturing environment that challenges and motivates students to achieve academic success. 

Jennie Smith Elementary School is proud of its wide variety of exemplary programs. Smith displays an ability to meet individual students needs through a 30 minute intervention and enrichment block as well as a half hour tutoring session for small groups of children each day.  All students have the opportunity to join the Smith Chorus and participate in the Winter and Spring Concerts. Jennie Smith also has instrumental instruction for 5th grade students. Our Advanced Academic  Program works with students to extend the regular curriculum as well as compete in academic areas throughout the state. Many of our students win awards for exceptional performance at area competitions.
