4th & 5th Grade Chorus
The Jennie Smith Elementary School 4th & 5th Grade Chorus has been rehearsing and working hard to prepare for performances all school year! This year, fourth and fifth grade students who signed up to participate stay after school each Wednesday to prepare more challenging choral repertoire for the Winter and Spring Concerts. The Smith Chorus also had the opportunity to perform holiday songs on News Radio 1450AM WILM as a part of their “12 Days of Christmas” Morning Show on Monday, December 22, 2014. They had so much fun and were all saying they felt famous! Currently, the chorus is preparing a variety of songs to perform in Smith’s “Decades” themed Spring Concert, which will be held at Christiana High School at 6:00pm on May 12, 2015. The 4th & 5th Grade Chorus, along with the rest of the Jennie Smith student body, will be performing songs from the 1950’s through the 1990’s, by artists such as the Jackson 5, The Beatles, The Tempations, The Monkees, The Village People, The Bee Gees, Whitney Houston, Kenny Loggins, Michael Jackson, The Backstreet Boys, The Spice Girls, and Hanson. You don’t want to miss it!Ms. Kimberly Schussler
