Your child will visit the library once a week for book check out, literature, research skills and internet safety lessons. These books are due back on library day the next week. Each student may check out one book. 

 

In addition to Library and Information skills, students will have the opportunity to work and observe in our Brader Vegetable Garden area and explore some outdoor areas. Gardening is in the spring and the fall.   Kindergarten-Grade 1 plant seeds; Grade 2 prepares the soil, Grades 3-5 harvest the vegetables (weather and schedule dependent). Parents and family members are always welcome at the library, and I’m always looking for volunteers to help out!  Also, donations of tissues, anti-bacterial wipes and hand -sanitizer are greatly appreciated.
