Over the next few months students will be participating in the Safer, Smarter Kids abuse prevention and personal safety curriculum during Physical Education Class. The students will be meeting in the library to combine with the Media Class, and you will be notified of your class schedule. This program will help teach students “to identify and avoid unsafe situations, people and behaviors, and how to access help, so that they may become the first line of defense against any possible abuse.” To learn more about the program you can visit www.SaferSmarterFamilies.org.
