Support a school-wide culture of reading by

• Instructing students in print ,visual and media literacy.  

• Assisting  patrons with information literacy

• Ensuring students can find themselves reflected on the pages of books

• Providing  materials in the format students prefer (picture books, magazines, audiobooks, e-books, tactile books, electronic sources,
  hands on mobiles, etc.) 

• Partnering  with classroom teachers to ensure effective use of library resources 

• Maintaining a strong web presence to meet the needs of students beyond the school day

• Modeling  creative collaboration with community partners and stakeholders
