Welcome!

  • The Stubbs Early Education Center and Dual Generation Center at Stubbs has the goal of educating the whole family in an environment where children and adults feel comfortable, safe, valued, and secure. Strong families and healthy communities are positioned to overcome challenges that create stress and can affect children’s attention, learning, and behavior. The Centers are designed to create focused opportunities for children and adults to join together and advance educational experiences intended to promote academic learning and families’ overall well-being.

  • New Beginnings! On February 13, 2018, the Christina Board of Education approved an agreement with the Governor’s Office and the Department of Education that included new ideas for the City of Wilmington schools to improve student achievement. Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, Stubbs Early Education Center will serve preschool, prekindergarten and kindergarten students in the Wilmington area.
