Hello Fifth Grade Families!!

Our fifth graders have been hard at work during this 1^st marking period! We have been learning all about the Bill of Rights, Narrative writing, solving equations, and working with fractions! In ELA we have read over 6 different stories! We have even survived a month of Number Corner with our shrinking carrots! Soon we will be starting our Science Unit which is all about Matter!

We would like to thank all of our families that have helped out with our Day of Kindness Celebrations and Rock Painting activities! The students LOVED putting their rocks into the garden!

You will soon receive more information for our first field trip which is to the Delaware Museum of Natural History!

We are all very excited about this year and we look forward to making the most out of every moment with your students!
