  • Robert J. Andrzejewski, Ed.D. returns to the Christina School District as Interim Superintendent for the current school year, a role he previously held in 2015 and 2016.

    With a distinguished career in education, Andrzejewski served as the Superintendent of the Red Clay School District from 1997 to 2009 before retiring, where he was celebrated for his visionary leadership and commitment to challenging the status quo.

    After retiring, he briefly returned to leadership in 2015, as Acting Superintendent at Christina School District for 15 months, during which he played a pivotal role in achieving a successful referendum for the District. 

    Additionally, he recently served as Interim President at the Charter School of Wilmington during the 2020-2021 academic year. 

    Andrzejewski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1975), a Master of Education (1978), and a Doctorate in Education (1988) from the University of Delaware.

    His extensive experience and dedication to student success make him a valuable asset to the Christina School District community.
