    Do you know an amazing teacher who works hard, inspires their students, and truly makes a difference? Now is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve! Help us celebrate excellence in teaching by nominating a classroom teacher from the Christina School District for the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year Award.

    We want to hear from students, staff, parents, and community members—everyone can join in! Share your thoughts on who should be honored as "Teacher of the Year." It's easy to submit your nomination online at www.christinak12.org/nominate. Don't wait—nominations are open until March 3, 2025!

    To be considered for the Teacher of the Year Award, a person shall:

    • have taught, continuously or intermittently, for an accumulative period of three years or more in a Delaware public school previous to the date of such person’s nomination;
    • have been formally nominated;
    • be actively teaching in their district in this state at the time of their nomination; and
    • continue to actively teach in the nominating district for the duration of the year of their nomination.

    Teachers who have been recognized as the Christina School District Teacher of the Year within the past three (3) years are not eligible for consideration.

     

    Nominations are being accepted through March 3, 2025.
