Integrated English Language Development Instruction

• MLLs receive instruction in the general education classroom with their peers as the ESL teacher collaborates with the regular education teacher and provides supported instruction.  

Targeted English Language Development Instruction

• MLLs spend scheduled time with an ESL teacher in order to receive targeted instruction that supports understanding in reading, math, science, and social studies.
